Time Off & Accruals
EmCentrix's HRMS gives you the ability to manage accruals and time off requests
entirely online. Employees can submit time off requests and check their accrual
balances anywhere they have internet access, while managers can easily approve
or deny requests, and HR/payroll staff can track and manage PTO for the organization
right from their web browser.
Time Off Requests
Employees can easily submit time off requests using their self-service log in. They
simply choose the type of request, enter the date(s) and amount of time they are
requesting off, and enter any comments they might have before submitting. Once
submitted, their manager or HR/payroll staff are notified of the request and can then
choose to approve or deny it with the click of a button. Additionally, employers and
managers can be allowed to enter requests on behalf of the employee. Approved
requests can be automatically added to the time sheet for submission to payroll,
while denied requests are sent back to the employee.
Request Calendar
Employers and managers can choose to view the time off request calendar, which
shows a complete view of all time off requests in calendar format and allows them to
easily track which employees have requests for each day in a month.
Request Locking
If there is a particular day or range of days that employees should not be allowed to
request time off for, employers can easily lock the time period to prevent requests
from being made in the specified date range.
Track Changes
A history report allows employers to keep track of all changes made to requests.
Accrual Management
Accruals can be managed using the HR system's own robust accrual module or
synchronized from a connecting payroll system, depending on the company's
preferences. This ensures that everyone always has access to their current
balances in real-time. If connected to a payroll system, the HRMS will not only
sync accrual information from payroll, it will also send approved PTO request
information back to payroll, ensuring that both systems remain up to date
without the need to re-enter data into another system.
View Accrual Balances
Employees can check their accrual balances at any time online via their self-service
login. Employers have access to accrual balance report, providing them with a broader
view of the balances for all employees as well as a timeline of balance changes as
employees accrue or use time.
